Step 1 – Get Ready to Apply

All current and admitted students can apply.

As part of the Undergraduate Program Policy, all first- and second-year students should apply for Housing if not living at home.

For apartments, all the applicants will have an opportunity to list preferred roommates.

Step 2 – Apply for Housing

Apply within your student portal to submit the online Housing Application.

Dorm applications are processed on a first-come, first-served basis.

Apartment applications use a lottery selection process due to high demand.

Step 3 – Accept your Housing Offer

Accept your Housing Offer within your Student Portal

You must accept your Housing Offer within one week of receiving notification. After Aug. 1, you will have a smaller acceptance window due to the compressed timeline of a late application.

Your offer will be considered accepted, once your deposit is paid.

Acceptance of your offer will also include acknowledgement of your resident agreement.

You may request a change to your offer after you accept and after June 15 when applying for the fall semester.

You will have the option to accept or reject. Rejection will be marked as a withdrawal from TWU Housing. In order to reapply, you'll have to submit a ticket request and start over.

Step 4 – Pay your Housing Deposit

Payment is part of your offer acceptance process. Make your payment here.

The housing deposit is non-refundable.

Your deposit will go towards your overall Housing payment.

Once you have made payment, your offer will be considered accepted.

Step 5 – Move in

There are no early arrivals for move-in as we need time to prepare your room.

Move-in Dates can be found on the Dates & Deadlines page

Any information regarding your move-in will be provided to you in your @mytwu email 2-3 weeks prior to your move-in date.

You need your Student ID Card to gain access to your building and your meal plan. Please ensure you have requested your ID card successfully (following the photo guidelines). Request your ID card now.
