Message from the Chair of the Board of Governors
From the time of its founding, Trinity Western University has been a community with an extraordinary identity and mission as a distinctly Christian university in Canada. What a joy to witness God’s faithfulness over the past 60 years as TWU has expanded into a global learning community.
We give thanks for TWU’s continuing journey, and we are especially delighted to launch the University’s strategic plan, “TWU 2030: Every Graduate Equipped.” This plan to advance the University’s calling to be a Christ-centred, student-focused, innovative, and financially strong institution is the product of extensive community engagement, and I am deeply grateful to the faculty, staff, students, alumni, parents, friends, and supporters who participated in the envisioning and planning of TWU’s strategic direction.
On behalf of the Board of Governors, I commend Trinity Western University’s president, the Executive Leadership Team, the Strategic Planning Committee, and faculty and staff who are faithfully equipping students for lives of meaningful impact. Let us all work together in building this community into a truly global Christian university for the benefit of our students and to the glory of God.
