Applying for Financial Aid

Undergraduate Students

Students must enrol in full-time studies with a minimum 80% course load (12 semester hours/semester) in order to be eligible for financial aid. View eligibility requirements and exceptions.

Fall 2025 – Spring 2026 Academic Year:

The application for Financial Aid & Awards for the academic year beginning in September 2025 and ending in April 2026 is open.

USA Students: You will be prompted to complete the 2025-26 FAFSA to apply for the TWU Grant – an institutional need-based grant. Once completed, please email the Financial Aid office at awards@twu.ca to confirm it has been submitted.

The following programs are not eligible for Financial Aid & Awards:

Summer Sessions (courses offered between May – August)
Degree Completion programs (Leadership, Psychology and Social Sciences)
U1 and other international pathway programs
Qualifying or Casual Studies
English Language Training programs
