LANGLEY, British Columbia – The locally renowned Verhoeff name will be coming to the Trinity Western soccer pitch this fall as coach Graham Roxburgh officially announced the signing of midfielder Leanne Verhoeff (Calgary), who is the sister of former TWU women’s basketball player Jordan and cousin to former Spartans Rudy (volleyball), Lies (volleyball) and Lance (basketball).

SEATTLE, Washington – Trinity Western sprinters James Linde (Coquitlam, B.C.) and Nathan George (Coquitlam) and led the Spartans to an impressive showing in their first outdoor meet of the season as the duo set track records in the 200m and 400m events, respectively, at the Washington Open Saturday.

LANGLEY, British Columbia – Trinity Western men’s volleyball coach Ben Josephson went back to a pair of familiar wells for his latest two recruits as the Spartans coach officially announced the signing of outside hitter Riley Vander Meulen of Edmonton Christian High School and left side/libero Carter Bergen of Winnipeg’s MCBI (Mennonite Brethren Collegiate Institute), who both are arguably the best graduating players from their respective provinces.
