Welcome to TWU!

Welcome to life at Trinity Western University! We believe that in choosing TWU, you have chosen one of the premier academic institutions in Canada. We also believe that, in choosing TWU you are entering into a community and culture rich in heritage and tradition. You are now part of and a major contributor to, this rich heritage and tradition.

The official beginning of your experience as a TWU student is Orientation Week (O-Week). The journey includes four days full of activities that introduce you to campus life at TWU. O-Week is a rich tradition at TWU and it is all about building relationships with your classmates, connecting with faculty and staff who will journey with you during your time at TWU, becoming acclimated to campus life, celebrating the spirit of TWU, and having fun.

Throughout O-Week you will have the opportunity to participate in many activities designed to welcome you into the community of TWU. We invite you to experience what it means to be a thriving and contributing member of a community of faith and learning as you interact with your fellow students, faculty and staff, and as you begin your academic pursuits.

O-Week also features the opportunity to be part of a “connections group.” These groups are led by current student leaders who will walk with you as you engage in your TWU journey. In your connections groups, you will have the opportunity to build relationships with other new students, learn more about campus life at TWU, and feel better equipped to start your classes.

Welcome to some of the most important years in your life. I’m excited that you’ve chosen to live them here at TWU!
