TWU is governed by a Board of Governors to which the President reports. The board is comprised of distinguished Christian leaders from across Canada and the United States.

Peter Chung is a Vancouver-based entrepreneur with over 30 years of global experience in the fields of education, commerce, industry, and real estate. Founded in 1995, Dr. Chung is Executive Chairman of Primacorp Ventures Inc., which invests in for profit schools, residential health care facilities and social enterprises. Also active philanthropically, Dr. Chung he invests time and resources into several Christian Charitable initiatives.
President, TWU Alumni Association
Aaron Fedora completed a BBA in Management and Leadership at TWU in 2004. During his time at TWU, Fedora was President of the Trinity Western University Student Association. He currently works as Operations Manager of Ilkay Group of Companies (real estate development).
Fred Fleming lives in Abbotsford, B.C. with his wife Wilma. Fleming earned his Bachelor of Commerce from UBC and became a C.A. in 1978. He has served on various boards throughout the years including, Focus on the Family, Canada and Ravi Zacharias International Ministries.
Bill Francis and his wife, Marilyn, have served as Salvation Army leaders in the USA, UK, and Canada. He is currently in active retirement in Orlando, Florida. Bill earned a BA from Houghton College in 1966, a Master of Divinity degree from Asbury Theological Seminary in 1969, and was awarded a Doctor of Divinity degree (honorus causa) by Houghton College in 2002. Bill is the author of three books, The Stones Cry Out (1993), Celebrate the Feasts of the Lord (1997) and Building Blocks of Spiritual Leadership (2015) and general editor and contributor to Conversations with the Catholic Church (2014).
Jim Goertz is the founder and President of G&S Airport Conveyor, a fully integrated, original equipment manufacturer (OEM), providing airport baggage handling solutions specifically for the commercial airline industry. He is was a student at the University of Alberta, The Southern Alberta Institute of Technology, and the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology where he studied engineering and completed millwright and refrigeration mechanic apprenticeships. Goertz currently resides in Alberta, BC with his wife.

Robynne is Professor of History, history stream coordinator in the MAIH program, and Co-director for TWU’s Gender Studies Institute. Her expertise includes Gender, The Atlantic World, Quaker Studies, War and Peace, and Canadian History. She and her husband, Garth, live in beautiful Columbia Valley where they raise Quarter Horses, meat goats, and livestock guardian dogs.
Lorne Jacobson is a Senior Managing Director and co-founder of TriWest Capital Partners, a private equity fund which has raised more than $1.25 billion of equity capital over its five funds since 1998. Lorne is a graduate of TWU and the University of Calgary faculty of law, was previously a partner in a national law firm, and currently serves as a director and officer of a number of public and private companies and charitable organizations.

David Jordan began teaching in the Geography program in 1999. He is Assistant Professor of Geography and Environment and Director of the Tree-ring Laboratory at Trinity Western University. Jordan’s teaching and research interests include, earth and atmospheric science, anthropogenic global warming, dendrochronology and dendroecology of Garry oak ecosystems. He lives in Langley, BC with his wife Geraldine and three daughters.
Marvin Kehler has been actively involved in the business arena for many years, including the positions of President or Director in the industrial, developmental and agricultural sectors. When Kehler reached his financial goals at the age of 32, he became involved in Christian ministries, while continuing his business ventures. Since 1972, Kehler has shifted the majority of his attention to serving Christian ministries.
Julie Kerr is a TWU alumnae (B.A. psychology, 1989) and Alumni Achievement Award recipient (2014) who also completed a Masters of Science degree in pshychology at Western Washington University (1996). She has worked in the health, social services and not-for profit sectors and currently holds a senior administrative position within Alberta Health Services. Julie has served on a variety of boards including Crisis Pregnancy Centres (Vancouver and Prince George, BC), Cedars Christian School (Prince George), homeless serving organizations, churches and primary care networks. Julie lives with her husband, Michael, and 3 of their children in Calgary, AB. Their oldest daughter is completing her Education degree at TWU.
Grace Koch is committed to reaching and equipping the emerging generation in all areas of her life, be they personal, or ministry. She serves as the National Director for Women for the Evangelical Free Church of Canada. Grace and her husband Bevan live in Williams Lake, BC.

President, Trinity Western University
Bob Kuhn is the fourth president of Trinity Western University. He has been a practicing lawyer for more than 34 years and is founding partner of the law firm of Kuhn LLP. In 2001, Kuhn led TWU’s legal team all the way to the Supreme Court of Canada—successfully defending TWU’s Teacher Education Program and overturning contrary decisions made by the BC College of Teachers. In 2012, he served as President of the TWU Alumni Association.
President, TWU Student Association
Noah Reich, a student at TWU, is currently in his 4th year of a Bachelor of Science with a major in Chemistry and a plan to pursue a career as a Doctor of Medicine. As the president of the Student Association, he is working towards establishing effective communication between students and university administration, strong representation of student perspective, and encouragement of student involvement on campus.
Ross Reimer is the president of Reimer Associates, an executive search firm he established in 1997. Prior to founding Reimer Associates, Ross was Executive Vice President at Reimer Express Lines Ltd. and served on the company’s Board of Directors. Ross is an Honours graduate in business from Trinity Western University. In addition to sitting on TWU’s Board of Governors, he is also active in several charitable organizations.
Matthew St. John
Matthew St John currently serves as senior pastor of Bethel Church in Fargo, North Dakota, where he nurtures a deep passion for helping the spiritually hungry move toward Jesus and take others with them. A graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary (ThM; DMin) and King College (BA), Matthew has spent years contributing to more than just the local church, representing Christ in twenty-five countries and consulting with a variety of global ministries while giving time to numerous community, medical, mission, and education boards.
Executive Director, Evangelical Free Church of Canada
Bill Taylor is Executive Director of the Evangelical Free Church of Canada, a role he has held since 2008. Bill completed an Honors B.A. in History and Philosophy at the University of Waterloo and subsequently graduated in 1990 from Wilfred Laurier University with an M.A. in History. He completed all-but-dissertation towards a Ph.D. in History through the Universities of Toronto and Saskatchewan. Bill and his wife, Deb, live in Aldergrove, BC.
President, TWU Staff Association
Mike Teeter earned his Bachelors in Business (2003) and his Masters in Leadership (2007) from Trinity Western University. He has worked at TWU for 12 years where he is currently the Director of Recreation Services. Teeter has been a member of the executives for Student Council, the Alumni Association and now the Staff Association at TWU. He and his wife, Juliet, live in Langley, B.C. with their three children.
Kenneth Tsang serves as the Chairman of the Board for the Association of North American Chinese Evangelical Free Churches. Kenneth completed Bachelor of Laws and Postgraduate Certificate of Laws at the University of Hong Kong and was admitted as Solicitor of Supreme Court of Hong Kong in 1982. He currently serves as a board member on six charitable or community organizations in Canada.
