It All Begins Again
First Things First
Welcome to my first blog!
Second Things Second
It's a vain desire of mine that this first post be something really tremendous. In years to come, when I have nothing left to do in life but recall it, I want this blog to remember as slightly less of a blemish than my previous attempts to write about myself. For you see, this isn't the first go I've had a crack at. Unbeknownst to most, this summer while on my last day of office work, I started writing an (entirely premature) autobiography of my life to date. It was very short. This is partly because I started it on my last day in an effort to produce one thing of merit from three months of work, and secondly due to a substantial lack of material from which to write about. When it was time to go home, the autobiography was a meager three paragraphs long. This time however...things will be different! So, if you've had the patience to read this far, then read on Macduff, for you may enjoy whatever insights can be produced, though (for the record) none are promised.
Third Things Last
It feels great to be back! Christmas was jolly and merry and all that, but the cold in Alberta over the break was enough to send me packing. Just to cover my bases though, Mom and Dad, if you're reading, it was nice to be home too.
Having said all that, now that I have more homework to do tonight than I ever did in all of grade twelve, it feels slightly less great to back. Nevertheless, I'm having a blast with all my classes, a few of which include: Leadership in Ancient Greece and Rome, History of the Second World War and Classical Greek Political Philosophy. I'll admit that there are few things I like more than being challenged by the things I enjoy to do, because just as the pursuit of something sweetens the prize, so working hard for what you learn makes the acquisition of it all the more rewarding. How all these things go though I'll let you know, but for now I should probably wrap up.
Last Things Last of All
Thanks for taking a gander through the post, I hope it gave you a small glimpse into my small world. When it gets bigger I'll make sure to write a bigger book about it, and then it publish along with my previous attempts at autobiographical writing. But until then, or my next blog, adieu.
