Airports

Out-of-town visitors have two options for traveling by air to the Lower Mainland:

  • Abbotsford International Airport: Only 20 minutes from the Trinity Western University campus, Abbotsford International Airport is an easy and practical travel option. Call the YXX Visitor Info Centre at 604.859.1721 or 1.888.332.2229 or visit abbotsfordairport.ca to book your flight. If you have the option, we highly recommend you fly to Abbotsford as it is a much smaller airport. There is no public transit from Abbotsford International Airport to TWU.
  •  Vancouver International Airport: Situated just outside of Vancouver, this airport is about 45 minutes away from the conference site in Langley, BC and offers a more extensive list of flights. Call the YVR General Inquiries line at 604.207.7077 or visit yvr.ca to book your flight. There is no public transit from YVR to TWU.

Local Transit

Langley is unfortunately not very accessible via public transportation. If you are staying in a Langley hotel or wish to visit different sights in the Lower Mainland, it is highly recommended to rent a car. There are usually excellent deals for rental cars on travel websites. Cars can be rented at either the Vancouver or Abbotsford airports, and usually works out less expensive than taxi rides.

Another alternative is to take the skytrain from the airport to the Kingsway station in Surrey. There are taxi's available there, and it would be a much shorter taxi ride from Surrey to Langley.
