The nurse-client relationship is crucial to ensure effective and positive health outcomes. Therefore, I believe the education of our students must address all aspects of their personhood.

Landa Terblanche is an Associate Professor of Nursing at Trinity Western University School of Nursing. She has a PhD from the Potchefstroom University, South Africa. Landa has been a nurse from 1978, and has spent most of her career as a nurse educator and nurse administrator in various organizations and countries. Along with her passion for mental health and maternal-child nursing, she is deeply interested and involved in nursing education. Her research focus is on clinical aspects of nursing education as well as the transition from student nurse into the role to qualified professional nurse.
