Global Engagement Office
Our Purpose
The Global Engagement Office (GEO) houses co-curricular programming that highlights international connections present on our campuses as well as connections to short-term experiential service-learning opportunities around the world. We are passionate about developing leadership skills, missional hearts, cross-cultural skills and global understanding of all students and supporting our growing population of international and third culture students.
Ways to Engage with GEO
Intercultural Programs (ICP)
We help students transition to life at TWU and Canada, while fostering cultural identity and community understanding.
International Student Services
Questions about your study permit or visa? Our Advisers provide guidance, resources, and support through the Service Hub.
Global Outreach
We empower students in cross-cultural settings to become missional leaders who seek justice, love mercy, and walk humbly with God.
Local Outreach
We offer volunteer opportunities for student teams to serve and learn in the Lower Mainland, partnering with and supporting our neighbourhoods and cities.
Habitat for Humanity
We invite graduate students to join 1-2 week trips volunteering with Habitat for Humanity to provide affordable housing.
Global Lounge
Located on the first floor of the Robert G. Kuhn Centre, the Global Lounge is a great place for people of all cultures and ethnicities to hang out, do homework, eat lunch, connect, and build community at our Langley Campus.
Hours: 9 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday to Friday
