MA in Educational Leadership (BC) or MA in Leadership

Educators influence others on a daily basis. For this reason, trained leaders are invaluable assets in any educational institution. Trinity Western’s MA in Educational Leadership or MA in Leadership for education equips its students with the skill set and confidence to positively impact others in various educational settings. Those who can benefit from this stream include principals and prospective principals, department chairs, grade coordinators, teachers wanting to explore leadership opportunities, and even persons in non-school educational environments. The MAEL program is recognized by the Teacher Qualification Service of British Columbia for salary scale purposes.

Combining online learning year-round and classroom modules in the summer, TWU’s MAEL or MA Lead program offers top-level leadership training in a dynamic and innovative format. Multiple options are offered to suit your individual needs. Complete this 36-credit program in 26 months through our part-time option, or finish in 13 months with our full-time option. A 24-month graduate certificate option (18 credits) is also offered to students whose time and finances are at a premium, but could be interested in eventually laddering their certificate into a full degree.
