Match to the Bears
Langley, British Columbia – On Friday, November 4 in Edmonton, AB the Trinity Western University men’s volleyball team lost to the University of Alberta Golden Bears 3-0, (25-18, 25-17, 25-21).
“We did not play exceptionally well tonight,” said TWU head coach Ron Pike. “We came out a little bit flat at the start of the match and we were never able to get back into the match.”
Statistical leader for the Spartans was Chris Roy (Prince George, BC) 10 kills. “We moved Chris out to the right side were he had a very strong match,” said Pike.
Statistical leaders for the Bears were Pascal Cardinal and Scott Emslie with 10 kills each.
Next up for the Spartans is Saturday, November 04 at the University of Alberta in Edmonton, AB.
