LANGLEY, British Columbia – The Trinity Western men’s volleyball program will be well-represented at this year’s FISU Games as four former Spartans and one current player were named to Canada’s 18-member roster for the Summer Universiade in Kazan, Russia July 4-19.

QUEBEC CITY (CIS) – The fourth-seeded Alberta Golden Bears defeated conference rivals, the No. 2 Trinity Western Spartans, in four sets of 25-14, 25-21, 22-25 and 25-18 Sunday afternoon to take fifth place at the CIS men’s volleyball championship at PEPS Stadium in Quebec City.

QUEBEC CITY (CIS) – For the second game in a row, the second-seeded Trinity Western Spartans played five sets, but this time it turned to their favour as the Canada West finalists beat the UNB Varsity Reds in the first consolation match of the CIS men’s volleyball championship Saturday afternoon at PEPS Stadium in Quebec City.
