Every weekday our student body gathers into the gym for times of worship and prayer. Although chapel is not mandatory, it’s a favorite campus tradition.
Chapel coordinators strive to bring in a diverse group of speakers throughout the year, from Christian musicians and writers to academics. The daily services are loosely inspired by the liturgical calendar and also reference stages in the academic year.
Forms of worship draw on the worldwide church, and incorporate diverse cultural and traditional influences. The arts often contribute to the worship experience, with appearances by TWU dancers, choirs and artists. It’s an uplifting way to refocus in the middle of a busy academic day.
