Where We Are
Langley, British Columbia (BC) is a great place to live and study. Our campus is located between Langley’s downtown shopping and commercial district and the historic village of Fort Langley. Langley itself is situated between Vancouver and the beautiful backcountry of BC. Here's a list of places to go and things to do:
Fort Langley (3.5km from TWU): As the first Canadian settlement in BC, this quaint historic village is a great place to study, explore, shop, and run or bike the trails along the Fraser River.
White Rock (25km from TWU): This border town is situated on the Pacific Ocean overlooking the US. This is a popular beach destination and offers a long boardwalk along the Pacific.
Vancouver (50km from TWU): The heart and soul of BC is its thriving city and host of the 2010 Olympic Winter games. Students take in all that the city offers: its museums, theatres, professional sports, ethnic celebrations, and the laid-back West Coast attitude. Some of the more popular destinations include Robson Street, Stanley Park, Gastown, the Sea Wall, and Granville Island. Also there are 3 local ski mountains to choose from: Cypress Mountain, Grouse Mountain, and Mount Seymour.
Whistler (170km from TWU): One of the world's greatest ski resorts is only two hours away! Home to many memorable events of the 2010 Winter Olympics, Whister offers world class skiing, mountain biking, and hiking.
Vancouver Island (100km from TWU): It has it all: history, fishing, kayaking, camping, and incredible surfing. Home to BC's historic capital, Victoria, and Canada's most famous hiking trail - The West Coast trail.
