Collective Agreement Update

Joint statement from Trinity Western University and the Christian Labour Association of Canada

We are pleased to inform you that the collective agreement negotiated between Trinity Western University (TWU) and the faculty in the bargaining unit represented by the Christian Labour Association of Canada (CLAC) on April 6, 2024 has been officially ratified by both parties and is now in full effect. This agreement covers the period from August 16, 2023, to August 15, 2026.

Seeking to address issues that advance each other's interests, TWU and CLAC have faithfully engaged in constructive dialogue throughout this process. We have made genuine progress on terms and conditions of employment while upholding a steadfast commitment to TWU’s mission, vision, and strategic objectives as a Christian university.

We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated members of both bargaining teams. Your diligent efforts, patience, and dedication have been instrumental in achieving this mutually beneficial agreement. We look forward to continuing our fruitful collaboration in the future.
